Abstract:
These data were formerly available from the Montana State Library web site but were removed because they are potentially out of date. Please contact the Federal Superfund Bureau of the Montana Department of Environmental Quality if you want these data so they may tell you if newer or better data are available. If the data are not available from the Department of Environmental Quality, you may request a copy from the Montana State Library data archive.

This layer contains annotations for labeling towns, streams, and highways for a 1:63,360 scale map series of the Upper Clark Fork. It also contains points and circles for placement of Interstate, U.S., and Montana (circles) highway sheilds around the text of the route numbers. The layer contains 26 lines that represent Interstate Highways and frontage roads that are not shown in the 1989 USGS 1:24,000 scale digital line graph data that were used to produce the map.
Purpose:
Annotation for medium-scale base maps, approximate location of Interstate highways to supplement USGS 24k base map data.
